buksoWe use providers only for the stated functions and remain responsible for information under our control. Contracts and technical safeguards are appropriate to each service. Some providers, especially payment processors, also use information for their own legally required payment, fraud-prevention and security purposes under their notices. We do not promise every provider acts solely as our processor for every activity. No outside AI provider receives customer documents/transaction lines for AI processing. Our Privacy Officer explains foreign-provider policies and practices. Account files are stored with Render in Oregon, USA; our AI processes documents in Alberta, Canada.

What we do not use
We do not use outside AI companies (for example OpenAI, Google or Anthropic) to process your documents or transaction lines, and no provider on this page uses your information to train its own AI. We do not use advertising or analytics networks. Your documents and transactions are never sent to an outside AI company.
Processing outside Canada
Our main hosting is in the United States (Render, Oregon), and Stripe, Porkbun and Cloudflare also process information in the United States. Reviewers may be in Canada or the United States. While your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. A provider that is based in another country may also be subject to that country's laws for information it holds for us, even when its servers are in Canada. We do not say that your data stays in Canada.
Changes to this list
These providers may change over time. When we add or replace a provider that processes personal information, we update this page with a new “Last updated” date and ask account holders to review and accept the change at their next sign-in, before the change takes effect for them.
